Sno-Ballin' Sheep 02.24.10
You got RICKMAN'D, Sheep! 02.22.10
If you couldn't guess, this is an allusion to Rickrolling (and I have included a link to the Urban Dictionary definition, in case any of you souls are fortunate enough to have never been rickrolled... it's obnoxious.)
Another fun Rickrolling reference from www.xkcd.com : Heehee.
The explanation for this sheep is that one night (or morning) and roughly 2:00 AM when we were ordering wings, we got onto the topic of Alan Rickman. I expressed my distaste. Kacy expressed her horror that I could feel anything but love for him. It's not that don't appreciate him as an actor, it's just... he has a creeper voice. He will never NOT be kinda creepy to me. When he's portraying a creeper? He's AWESOME. Otherwise? ...........
Anyway--Kacy decided the best thing to do would be to FLOOD my Facebook wall with pictures of Alan Rickman... My newsfeed said "Kacy Van Clief has posted a link to your wall"... THIRTEEN TIMES. Therefore, I got Rickman'd. (I considered Rickmanrolled, but that was too much.)
One last thing: The most amusing video featuring Alan Rickman ever.
Do not disappoint me.
So, with all these videos, images, and cartoons, this can only mean one thing:
YOU GOT RICKMAN'D!!!

Teaching Sheep 02.20.10
This is inspired by and dedicated to all the shitheads out there who can't understand that SOUP DOES NOT GO IN SINKS!!
There are many things that can go in sinks... water. Filtered water. Sparkling water. Toothpaste. Spat-water. Spam water. Hand soap. Spit. Wedding rings.
And then there are things that cannot. Like Alan Rickman.
and NOODLES!!!

Mad Scientist Sheep Creations: Bearalrusquirrel!! 02.16.10
Mad Scientist Sheep Creation 1.2: Bear+Walrus+Squirrel = most terrifying and most annoying animal combination ever.
It will disembowel you until you are dead, then eat ALL (I repeat, all) of your fish, nuts, and honey! Even the fancy fish and nuts you were saving for the dinner party you now will NEVER host! HOW EVIL!!
I know this doesn't actually include a physical sheep, but it says the word "Sheep" after "mad" and "scientist" so I'm counting it. Bearalrussquirrel Not-So-Sheep is inspired by and dedicated to a very long and understimulating college course that forces me to doodle things like this.
What is your ONLY defense?? One of these... or one of these:

Sheep Wars: Return of the Sheepi. 02.07.10
This is the proverbial "Black Sheep" of the family. It's the first to be drawn on a vertical canvas (not really a canvas I just like the word canvas) rather than a horizontal one. Inspired by and dedicated to "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" off of which this sheep was obviously drawn.
You MAY notice that the colors are not as vibrant as usual. There is an explanation for that. Mostly, I was hoping that this would be such an epically-epic sheep that I would keep it forever!!! So, I drew on paper rather than whiteboard (psst- also, this is only the SECOND sheep to be drawn on paper! Nowaayy) to preserve it. The coloring was done in colored pencil so it is... not vibrant. But this took me a little while, so appreciate it :)
"Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi is a 1983 American space opera film directed by Richard Marquand and written by George Lucas and Lawrence Kasdan. It is the third film released in the Star Wars saga, and the sixth and final in terms of internal chronology. It is also the first film to use THX technology.
The film is set some time after Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Luke Skywalker and members of the Rebel Alliance travel to Tatooine to rescue their friend Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt. Meanwhile, the Galactic Empire is planning to crush the Rebel Alliance with a second Death Star while the Rebel fleet simultaneously prepares to launch a full-scale attack on this new space station. Luke confronts his father, Darth Vader, in a climactic duel before the evil Emperor Palpatine. The film also shows the redemption of Anakin Skywalker, redeemed by his desire to save his son from the Emperor.
The film was released in theaters on May 25, 1983, receiving mostly positive reviews. The film grossed over $475 million worldwide. Several home video and theatrical releases and revisions to the film followed over the next 20 years. It was the last Star Wars film released theatrically until Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace began the prequel trilogy in 1999." (wikipedia)

Boy Blue Sheep 02.06.10
Eh--this is a semi-fail sheep, only because it seemed a WAY better idea when I was drawing it then it does now.. also it's one of those darn inside jokes that I therefore need to explain to you. Which will no longer make it funny to me... so I won't tell you THAT part.
But LO! the sacrifices we make for comedy. (and that is "lo"... not part of "lol". Truth.)
The other funny part can be found in the last 30-ish seconds of this video by the Falsetto Sock Puppet Theater troupe. You really should watch the whole thing because it's hilarious... or just the end where Little Bo Peep says, "Oh, where's Little Boy Blue? He's got that horn, maybe he could blow it and the sheep would--oh. Is that what that means? I'd quite like to see that, it might take my mind of the sheep..."
There are other references (watch the whole thing or watch from 2:15 on) to "that thing he does with his horn--once seen, never forgotten."

Hug Sheep 02.05.10
Even though this isn't one of my more artistic-y sheep, it's now one of my favorites <3 because everyone (unless you have a terrifying skin condition, you have no torso or you're a dreadfully horrible person with no friends) knows someone who gives perfect hugs. Perfect. You hug them and they're not too tall, but not too short, and not too skinny with just the right amount of... we'll call it "volume"... that they deliver a masterpiece of a hug?
Bryan's my hugger :) I think he was responsible for "When Sheep Hunt"? Hmm. Well, anyways... I used to get a hug almost every single day from Bry, and it always made everything better. I could be having the worst day (at least to a teenager) and a good hug never hurt :) But now, I'm stranded somewhere in the northern regions of Vermont and haven't gotten my hug in about 3 weeks... sad.
So, this sheep is inspired by and dedicated to Bryan, but also to all of my good friends, past, present, and future, for loving me unconditionally (at least until they stopped loving me) <3
(And no, they are not kissing. Get your dirty mind out of the gutter and wash it with soap!)

Immortal Voldemort Sheep 02.03.10
Requested by/Dedicated to Emily K :) I was tired of finding finger-marks on the sheep every morning, so I stopped drawing them for a day or two. But, she made a beautiful picture protesting the constant destruction of sheep complete with a cry for peace! She single-handedly brought back the sheep. Yay Emily!!
Also--this is immortal sheep NOT because I didn't read the 7th Harry Potter book OR because I believe he will once again rise to power... It's immortal Voldemort sheep because Emily wanted a Voldemort sheep and I drew him in permanent marker ;) Erasable with the right materials, but NOT WITH FINGERS!! :D:D
WHAT NOW, SHEEP ERASING CRIMINALS??
